In 2022, I hiked the Superior Hiking Trail, a foot trail that follows Lake Superior up to Canada. My fondness for the trail, and my childhood adventures followed me to the city I now live in, and inspired a series of art depicting the great cryptid bigfoot doing mindful activities. Whether it’s birdwatching, canoeing, yoga, snowboarding, meditation, or stargazing, this series of art seeks to understand what the big hairy beast does when evading human eyes.
